SailboatData.com provides the specifications of almost 9200 production and semi-production sailboat models. It was started in 2003 and has grown to be the trusted source for anyone in sailing.

We were given the freedom to shape this iPhone & iPad app as long as it respected the visual style of their website. Because this data is used a lot by sailors, we decided the app should work without internet connection. Other important features not found on the website: showing search results while typing, more advanced detailed search, favourites, iCloud syncing, ability to make notes, and various handy settings.

We released the app in 2020. It now enjoys several thousand paying subscriptions with a retention rate above 85%. Recently a major update was done to support iOS 26 and to add several features.
